Bagmo Pvt Ltd is a Kochi based startup solving healthcare needs using engineering innovations and operation management techniques and currently incubated Maker village Kochi. Bagmo Pvt Ltd is a spun out company of BIRAC’s Social Innovation Immersion program on maternal and child health. Currently, we are developing a blood bag monitoring system which will be monitoring the storage conditions of blood bags while it is being transported and stored. We believe that we can increase the availability of blood in rural India with the use of this technology and currently we are in the late stage prototype development. We have collaborated with Christian medical college Vellore for the development and piloting of the product. Another product in late stage validation is a connected temperature logger which can be used for healthcare cold chain logistics. Bagmo has team of clinical engineers, product developers and public health experts. Bagmo has been awarded with grant in aid support for their efforts in healthcare technology development.
